Transportation on Curacao
Q: Do you arrange transfers from the airport to the vacation rental?
A: We advise you to rent a car in advance. We will send you a clear route description from the airport to your vacation home. If you prefer to take a taxi, we can arrange a taxi whose driver knows our accommodations to pick you up, for the going rate. We expect your arrival at the house or apartment, on average 90 minutes after your plane has landed.
Q: Is it necessary to rent a car on Curacao?
A: For the villa Kas Kinikini it is essential that you rent a car. Public transport is completely inadequate in Curacao. For the apartments at the Curacao Sea Aquarium you may not need a car, because there are many activities within walking distance and a nearby supermarket has a daily shuttle service.
Q: Do you also rent cars?
A: We don't rent cars, but we will send you a list of reliable local car rental companies, with good service and low rates! They meet you at the airport with your car, or deliver the car to your villa. Car rental companies like Avis, Hertz, Budget and Thrifty are based at the airport. Either way, we recommend that you reserve your car in advance via internet.
